The staff was super friendly and spoke great English. They organized day trips to cool places like the Ademir Rosa Theater and the Image and Sound Museum, which were total cultural highlights. Plus, they always had something fun going on at night, like parties or group meals. We had some of the best meals ever at the hostel, seriously!

The only thing we could have asked for more of was late-night fun for us party-loving teenagers. It would have been awesome if they had organized more activities or events for us to enjoy after the music is turned off and everyone goes out to bars and clubs.

The noise level in the hostel was a major downside. There were loud conversations until past midnight, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I had an amazing experience at Tucano House in Florianopolis. the hostel is filled with young travelers like myself and offers a wide range of tours and activities. Even on a rainy day, I had a glorious experience with their rafting tour. the chill-out area and tiny pool allowed me to easily connect with other travelers. the hostel is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from the bus station. The staff was lovely and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.

ac control was puzzling and annoying

The Tucano House had a charming and welcoming ambiance that made my stay truly enjoyable. The decoration was tastefully done with beautiful colors and cozy furniture, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The common areas such as the lounge and dining area were well-maintained and provided ample seating options, including comfortable hammocks, which were perfect for resting and socializing. I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and handrails in place, ensuring a safe and convenient experience.

If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have additional staff available at all times. Although the children working there were friendly and helpful, there were instances when more assistance could have been beneficial.
